The online M.S. in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota was carefully created to close skills gaps identified by employers. You will be well-versed in business acumen, mathematics, data command, computer science, and communication and apply those skills to real-world data sets. Students will gain insight into the best-in-class data cleaning, extracting, and transforming principles in data science. Best practice data warehouses, data visualization, cloud computing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence are learned through hands-on projects and virtual labs.

Course Information

This program prepares students for effective business intelligence, analytics, data science, and leadership roles by focusing on business acumen, ethics and leadership, data command, technology, and storytelling communication.

Applicants must submit:

  1. $25 non-refundable application fee: Note that Saint Mary’s alumni, students seeking readmission, veterans and active military personnel are exempt from this application fee.
  2. Official transcripts: An official transcript issued to Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota from the institution posting the applicant’s completed bachelor degree and other relevant transcripts documenting program prerequisites and potential transfer credits must be sent separately and directly from your undergraduate institution in a sealed envelope. We don't accept transcripts that are scanned, emailed, or faxed.
  3. An up-to-date résumé: Include both your educational and professional experience.
  4. A written statement: Describe your personal background, training, career goals and experience. Tell us why you’re seeking admission to the MBA, what your personal and professional strengths are, and any other personal information you wish to share.
  5. Two letters of reference

For International Students
International transcripts must be evaluated by a university-accepted evaluator, and Applicants with international transcripts may require an English language proficiency exam.
