Saint Mary's University of Minnesota's Bachelor of Science in Marketing is designed to prepare you for a variety of careers in marketing.
Marketing professionals do more than advertising: they also conduct research, study consumer behavior, and manage logistical operations. Marketing professionals include customer service managers, web designers, public relations professionals, and purchasing agents. Marketers help lead organizations using strategic management skills.
To study marketing is to study how organizations understand consumer behavior and then develop, promote, and deliver products and services that meet both consumer needs and organizational objectives. The program also emphasizes the importance of the exchange between customers and organizations, as well as the significance of customer-centered strategies.
