Master of Science in Project Management
Become a highly effective project manager in both domestic and international settings. By earning your Master of Science in Project Management degree online from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, you'll be prepared to sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam to become a certified PMP. The program is accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Accreditation Center for Project Management (GAC) and has a strong leadership focus with applied coursework. Thes program is offered at our Twin Cities campus and online.
Based on global project management standards, the program provides an interactive, comprehensive exploration of initiating, planning, and managing projects. Interpersonal skills, leadership, and communications are emphasized both with individuals and teams.

Applicants must submit:
An undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution.
A minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale. If your overall GPA is below 2.75, you may receive conditional status in the program at the discretion of the M.S. in Project Management program director.
$25 non-refundable application fee: Note that Saint Mary's alumni, students seeking readmission, veterans, and active military personnel are exempt from this application fee.
Official transcripts: Documentation of completed bachelor's degree. Must be sent separately and directly from your undergraduate institution in a sealed envelope. We don't accept transcripts that are scanned, emailed, or faxed.
A written statement: Your personal background and future goals all impact your success with Saint Mary's and inform your education. As you prepare your written statement, think about including previous experiences, education, and your personal strengths and interests. Share your motivations for entering the online project management program and how it will contribute to your career.
Two letters of reference or recommendation: Letters should speak to your academic ability and professional or volunteer experience, and how it relates to the M.S. in Project Management program.
An up-to-date résumé: Include both your educational and professional experience.
